Guilty Verdict in 1993 Cold-Case Murder

Jury Convicts Jerry Westrom in Jeanne Ann Childs Killing

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - A jury has found Jerry Westrom, 56, guilty of first-degree premeditated murder and second-degree intentional murder in the 1993 killing of 35-year-old Jeanne Ann Childs. Hennepin County District Judge Juan Hoyos imposed the state's harshest sentence on Westrom in court on Friday.
